Every Sunday evening, Thalang Road transforms into Phuket Walking Street, a must-see for anyone visiting the island! Known locally as Lard Yai, the market stretches for over 350 metres through the historic Phuket Old Town. Stop to browse handicrafts, toys, clothes and more from local Chinese, Indian and Muslim shops.

With artists’ booths, live music, street shows and manicures on offer, it creates a really fun atmosphere. Be sure to try the Thai salads, fish balls, BBQ chicken, seafood and more. Wash it all down at the cocktail booth. It’s no wonder this place attracts so many young crowds looking to hang out and have a great time in Phuket!

Jungceylon Shopping Mall is the mall in Phuket. With its grand architecture, flashy lights and giant fountain, Jungceylon is hard to miss. There’s so much to do here, you wont know where to start. The shopping arcade has wonderful national and international products sometimes at discounted prices. Robinson department store with its high-end perfumes, women’s garments and appliances is a must-see. Big C complex has similar treasures and more, well-known for leading Thai sports brands.
There are also many restaurants serving Southeast Asian and Western delights if you start to feel peckish after shopping. Plus a five-screen cinema, gaming, bowling alley, and even a shell museum – at Jungceylon there’s endless fun for everyone!

Premium Outlet is an awesome open-air shopping complex with tons of factory outlet shops! The layout is inspired by a French village, with clean walkways and beautiful structures. They’ve got local brands and international ones like Lacoste, Guy Laroche, Hush Puppies, Tokidoki, Pierre Cardin, Van Heusen, Levi’s, Lee, Nautica, Adidas and Nike – all discounted up to 70%. And on a special day, it can even go as much as 90%!
That said, don’t expect everything to be dirt cheap as prices are initially hiked and some items may be older. Use your best judgement. They have a massive section just for kids with official Warner Bros and Ben10 merch. Plus shops with traditional Thai handicrafts, woodwork, souvenirs, cutlery and accessories.

Banzaan Market, located right across from the massive Jungceylon mall, is a modern-looking, super clean Thai fresh market with a friendly atmosphere and a vibrant selection of fresh produce, seafood, meats, and local sweets. Think exotic fruits you’ve never seen before and a massive selection of beautiful flowers.
It’s a great place to stock up on fresh groceries, try some delicious fruit juices, or even grab a quick meal at the food court. There’s also a section with kiosks and shops selling artificial flowers, gifts, clothes, toys, and shoes. The vendors are friendly and helpful, many even speak English! It’s a great way to experience a bit of everyday life in Phuket.
