The 20-metre swimming pool easily takes the cake as it has been designed right across from the splendid view of the Andaman Sea and the infinity edge is perfect for swimming up to the edge to feel as if you’re in the ocean itself. The lush gardens are teeming with tropical flora including palm trees, blooming pink bougainvillea and freshly-cut grass. The poolside sala is the perfect spot for a BBQ and a hearty breakfast against this stunning landscape.
A living pavilion is found right beside the swimming pool with mesmerising ocean views through glass doors so even while you are lounging indoors, you have something surreal to gaze at. The interiors are elegant and luxurious in a contemporary minimalistic style with simple furniture, wood-panelled flat ceilings with ceiling fans, cove lighting and plenty of indoor plants to freshen up the room even further. The living pavilion is air-conditioned so you can be comfortable while the sun is right overhead. A flat-screen TV is fitted into a wall panel and you have international channels and a DVD player for your enjoyment.
The beautiful living area also makes room for the opulent dining area with dining tables and ample seating for guests, almost like a private little café for guests. Right behind the living area is where you have the family kitchen with modern appliances and state of the art technology so you can prepare everything from light appetisers to seven-course meals by yourself or request the villa chef to do the same for you as they can prepare delicious Thai and Western dishes. Another lounge at the villa houses a comfortable couch and is more like an entertainment room with a pool table, a massive TV, etc.
From daily housekeeping, room service, concierge service and beach services extended by the resort to services available upon requests such as massages in-villa, Villa Daran has got you covered. The resort itself opens its gym and kiddie area to guests for more fun and enjoyment. There is a shuttle service that runs to and from Kamala beach as well. You can rent a car or request the in-villa chef to prepare your meals at cost.
