10/10Our group consisted of 7 adults, 1 child, and 2 infants in this villa for 7 nights. We truly enjoyed our stay, particularly the private pool w/ outdoor shower, 3 bedrooms (king size beds) & 3 full bathroom suites, full kitchen, dining room, and living room. Oksana arranged our transportation from Phuket airport to the villa (1500 THB) and met us at the villa upon our arrival. Our check-in was smooth with a quick check around the villa and explanation of the charge for electricity. They also provided us with a large bowl of local fruit for free as a housewarming gift. Everything was clean and air conditioning worked well with individual units in each room. Upon request, Oksana also provided a free infant bassinet. The living room had a large mounted tv and dvd player, and there is wifi available throughout the house. Both her and her husband kindly drove us to get groceries and dinner as we arrived later in the evening. They also offered us their own car for rent to get around the island. During our stay, Oksana promptly responded to any concerns or questions and maintained communication with us as needed. Our villa was cleaned once and the pool cleaned twice while we were there. She graciously extended our check out a few hours to accommodate our evening flight time. Our deposit was refunded in full and we paid the electricity bill (~5200 THB for the week). We coordinated our return transportation to the airport with our original driver, Mr. Sydney (~1800 THB). The villa is located within a smaller community of villas with a gate guard. The community was quiet and peaceful and provided a very relaxing vacation. By car, it took us about 25-30 minutes (with traffic) to get to the Big Buddha as well as to Kata beach area. There are great restaurants all along the main road near the villa that are open quite late ((PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN)) and provide takeaway (i.e. carry-out) as well. Recommendations: 1.) Rent a car/moped or some sort of transportation. Naiharn beach is farther than we thought with a 30+ minute walk and the main road, which had lots of restaurants and smaller shops, is a bit far as well by foot and in the heat. 2.) You will also need to replenish your own paper, toiletry products, and groceries. The kitchen is stocked with standard kitchen essentials to cook with. (We recommend driving a bit further to a larger grocery store as the stores closer to the villa are limited in their selection). 3.) There is a washer; however, everything is hang dry on a line. 4.) There are beach mats and umbrellas provided in the laundry room, along with some beach toys for kids. Towels (bath & beach) were also provided (1 per person). 5.) Purchase/bring bug spray 6.) We visited Naiharn beach and Kata beach. We recommend Naiharn beach; it was clean, the water was safe for kids (no jellyfish that we encountered).
